Ethics Training

“May the Lord God be with you. I think you are cool. Thank you for being a soldier for us. You are a mighty soldier.”- Unknown

“Thank you for serving our country.” –Nick

“God love you so much. May the Lord be with you.” –Kaleigh

“Thank you soldiers!!!” –Danielle

“I hope you win.” –Unknown

I think we already have. Won that is. It’s just a matter of time before the mission is accomplished and we all get to come home. These are just a few quotes I took from some thank you cards. The class of 1st graders at Horizon Christian School made the cards. I’m going to hand them out to the platoon but I couldn’t stop reading through all of them first. I’m sure they’ll make all of the guys feel proud about what they’re doing. As I’m sure everyone has heard before, it’s the thought that counts.

I received a box full of candy and books from Paul in Greenfield Indiana. He’s the same person that sent me a box full of Beanie Babies yesterday. There’s no way I’ll be able to read all of these books, so I just pulled out the ones that I want to read and left the others for the rest of the readers in the company. I only picked a few books for myself and was excited to find Splinter Cell in there. I was about to order that book online because I couldn’t find it. I’ve already read Splinter Cell: Operation Barracuda. Since I skipped the original I’ve wanted to go back and read the original adventures of Sam Fisher. We had some ethical training today. Don’t have to wonder too hard why that is. It doesn’t surprise me either. Not with everything that’s happened west of here. It just takes a few guys to ruin it for everyone. I mentioned the incident yesterday but I can’t release any details. Anyway, the class was nothing spectacular. It was just ordinary instruction on ethics, doing what’s right and wrong. We’ve had it before during mobilization, just not this specific.

Well, I'm not active duty now or for the last 40 years. But I would say to the public then and now, if you don't have the Nation's security and well being at heart and in your heart, Yea, butt out, we don't need your crap.

I'm so tired of America bashing and those that say they support the troops, but not the war. But that's my burden to bear.

Meanwhile back at the trial by media of the Marines (and the Soldiers too) Sweetness and Light posted something very interesting.

Also, another story is leaking out from translated Iraqi documents about some "chemicals" buried just before the war started. It won't make the MSM, just the blogs until they actually find it. Which it appears, no one is interested in doing right now.

The big news of course is if the House is going to let the Senate get away with the worse bill ever constructed concerning immigration. Are they going to do whats right or vote so as to get re-elected. If they go by the put up and slanted polls, they are going to be in for a big surprise.

Sometime in the next few years (months?) thousands more Americans are going to die right here in this Great Republic. Only then...(maybe, hopefully) will the America Bashers, the liberal, socialist, ignorant and selfish Americans figure out who the REAL enemy is and really let loose the dogs of war.

Well, onto each blog site a little troll must fall..... :) It's interesting how someone who hasn't been there knows everything, dontcha think?? If he could spend a few days in your shoes, he might see things a bit clearer...and he should count his lucky stars that there are people willing to "volunteer" to cover his ass. Keep up the good work, there are tons of us out here who support you.

Thanks Missbirdlegs and thank Kbug. Some people, myself included, don't quite understand. I'm glad I've been given this opportunity to serve over here. It has completely changed my perspective on a lot of things and has let me become aware of the great supporters out there.
